Nursery School

Our Nursery School program, for children ages 30 to 48 months, provides an informal atmosphere and a child-oriented, developmentally appropriate curriculum where children learn through play and the exploration of their environment. Children have the opportunity to become independent and successful in this educational environment, begin to successfully solve problems, and learn to express their ideas and feelings.

The philosophy of the Nursery School program is to support each child in reaching their potential in all areas of development, including emotional, physical, intellectual and moral. Key experiences are integrated into the developmentally appropriate activities that are planned. An attractive, stimulating environment enhances the opportunity for the cognitive development of each child. We encourage self-direction, and work to promote a sense of responsibility, self confidence and pride in each child.  The program promotes autonomy and self confidence in each child, placing a strong emphasis on school readiness and the development of life skills.
