  • Do you have Standard First Aid and CPR (Level C) training?

  • Are you willing to provide children with outside activities on a daily basis? 

Our Licensed Home Child Care program is welcoming enquiries from:

  •  Persons 21 years of age or older
  •  Persons who have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal
  •  Persons who are flexible, dependable, non-judgemental, committed and nurturing
  •  Persons who are willing to attend training and workshops

  • Helps you establish your own home based business
  • You will be affiliated with an Agency that is professionally recognized
  • You can choose what hours you work
  • You can choose the ages of the children you care for
  • You can care for private children as well as those matched through the Agency
  • The Agency has many families that are looking for child care matches which will save you money in advertising costs
  • The Agency organizes Standard First Aid and CPR (Level C) training that you can attend
  • You will receive assistance and support when dealing with challenging clients and/or children with special needs
  • You will be given the opportunity to borrow equipment and toys
  • Your Child Care Advisor will visit you on a monthly basis  and acts as a resource and support to you
  • Your Child Care Advisor will provide information and advice on early childhood topics
  • You will have opportunities to network and participate in social events with other Providers
  • You will have the opportunity to participate in free workshops and professional development opportunities
  • The Agency collects the fees from the parents and then pays you based on the monthly invoice you submit
  • You will receive a Communique with program updates, craft ideas, and early learning information
  • The Agency has detailed policies, procedures and management practices to help  you guide your day-to-day operations and help protect you as a Provider. 
  • Invoice payment by direct deposit
  • New Enhancement Grant funding
