City View Centre for Child and Family Services

KINDERGARTEN AND SCHOOL AGE PROGRAM

PHILOSOPHY

Our program supports each child in reaching their potential in all areas.  Our program is designed to enhance all aspects of a child as a whole including health, cognitive, physical, emotional and social development.

Our program is based on cognitive development.  We plan and organize our programming to include active learning, the direct and immediate experiences of people, objects and events, which provide the necessary conditions to enhance cognitive stimulation and learning for school age children.  We encourage self direction, a sense of responsibility and pride in our children through key planned and organized activities.  Our experienced Early Childhood Educators strive to maintain a level of excellence in Early Childhood Education and individualized care to each child within our program.
