View Centre for Child and Family Services Parents as Teachers Program, P.A.T. Program Ottawa |
| We are pleased to be able to offer you the unique opportunity of becoming one of our families in our “Parents as Teachers” program. This program is available to families (who are expecting), have newborns or children up to 3 years of age. “Parents as Teachers” is a strength based program designed to enhance and promote all areas of learning including language, intellectual, social and motor development. The program is modeled from the Born to Learn Institute of St. Louis, Missouri and is founded on proven neuroscience research. Here at City View Centre for Child and Family Services we are fortunate enough to have a certified Parent Educator who will gladly make regular visits to your home where together you will work towards enhancing all areas of your child’s development. Highlights of the Program are: Working together on your strengths as a Parent. You would be amazed at how many wonderful things you are already doing for your child’s neuroscience development and how many more wonderful things you can add.
We believe children are “Born to Learn” and we want to help you maximize every stage of your young baby’s growth. For more information on this program contact our P.A.T.
