Supply Teachers, Group Child Care

Requirements:

·         Community College diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.

·         Related child care experiences, knowledge and understanding of social, emotional and physical needs of children 18 months – 8 years.

·         As a condition of employment, all new employees are required to provide a Criminal Reference Check and a medical indicating a negative Tuberculin Test prior to starting.

·         First aid/CPR desirable

·         Flexible hours: to provide support to child care program in permanent staffs absence.

Child Care Consultant-Home Child Care Program

Full time Child Care Advisor position is available immediately for a six month term.  Contract has the possibility of being extended.  

Responsibilities:  As a child care consultant the main responsibility is to maintain and supervise a caseload of Providers and children.  

Start Date:  As soon as possible

Applications accepted until May 5th, 2010.

Requirements:

  • Early Childhood Education Diploma or Equivalent
    •  
  • Five consecutive years of experience in the field, two of which must be in a supervisory capacity
    		•
     
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
    		•
     
  • Experience with Excel and Microsoft Word software
    •  
  • Strong organizational and leadership qualities are considered assets
